Library Alumni Members

Deakin University Library offers Library membership to Deakin University graduates and former staff, including those living overseas.

Before becoming a Library Alumni Member, you should join the Deakin University Alumni Community and then apply to the Library for a discounted Library Alumni Membership.

Membership is only available to individuals.

Membership includes:

  • the Library collection includes over 1.5 million items and over 70,000 journal titles (some restrictions may apply)
  • access to selected electronic resources. (Other free databases and resources are available at other locations)
  • photocopying/scanning facilities

Internet access is not available to Library Alumni members through the Deakin University network.

Library staff are available to assist you with any queries you may have regarding information resources and services.

Proof of current Australian address is required, such as a copy of your utility bill (e.g.,phone, power, rates, water), which includes your name and address, and including your Alumni Membership number.

Having a Library Membership means that you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of borrowing.

Cash payments or EFTPOS can be made in person on weekdays at the Cashier's office during business hours, at any campus. Note that cash payments cannot be made at the Library.
