About BONUS+
The BONUS+ catalogue gives you access to over 6 million items located in these BONUS+ libraries listed below and is available to Deakin University staff and students.

If the book you need is not held, or is unavailable, at Deakin University Library then you should search in the BONUS+ catalogue.
If you locate the item at a participating BONUS+ library, you can request it online.
The item will be available for pickup from the campus library you selected or if you are an off campus student, or staff member it can be delivered to you.
How many BONUS+ items can I borrow?
All borrowers may have up to either 5 or 10 BONUS+ items, at one time, (depending on your category, see Borrowing Table below).
This number includes:
- all requests (holds) you place for BONUS+ items,
- BONUS+ items out on loan to you,
- BONUS+ items that you have returned via Deakin University Library, which have not been checked in at the 'home' library (BONUS return),
- BONUS+ items on the way to Deakin University Library from the 'home' library (in transit).
This total is included in the total number of items you are allowed to borrow from Deakin University Library.
BONUS+ items are not sent to Deakin University students living overseas.
A renewal may be possible if the item has not been requested by another client or it has not been recalled by the 'home' library.

Delivery time
The delivery time will vary (i.e. off campus students may have the item mailed to them), but on average, the item will be delivered to the Library within 7 working days.
You will receive an email when the item has arrived and is available for collection. Items will be held by the Library for 5 days.
How can I check on the progress of my BONUS+ requests?
Go to the Deakin University Library homepage and login to your library record in My Library. Your BONUS+ requests and loans are displayed with your Deakin University Library loans and requests (holds).
How do I cancel a BONUS+ request?
You may cancel a BONUS+ request from your My Library record if it is has not yet been posted to Deakin University Library. Go to the Deakin University Library homepage and login to your library record in My Library.
