You can ask for documents such as book chapters, journal or newspaper articles that are required for student reading, to be made available electronically. Any work that isn’t your own must be registered for Copyright Compliance. Please ensure that you have read and understood the Copyright Guidelines before proceeding to request e-readings.

Point your students directly to e-readings from within your DSO site, by following these instructions.
Navigate to your DSO unit homepage and to the page you wish to add the e-reading to.
Check if your reading is already available in the Learning Repository
If your reading is available, activate it
If your reading is not available, complete a contribution form to request it
Activated readings are automatically added to unit reading lists accessible from the Library homepage.
Use these instructions if you wish to include a link to e-readings on webpages, or in locations other than DSO.
From the Library homepage, enter your unit code in the unit materials box
Check limit to:e-readings and click on Find unit materials
If a number of Trimester options are offered, select the relevant trimester
Check you are satisfied that the readings list is the correct one for your unit
Choose a specific reading and select View Links
Copy the appropriate e-reading link and paste it where needed
This URL is permanent. It is not influenced by the trimester or period of offer of readings, nor the active or inactive status of a reading. If a reading list is rolled over to a new time period, URLs for individual readings remain current and unchanged.

To create a permanent link to the reading list, click on View Links against any reading
To make e-readings accessible from one trimester to another, or from one unit to another
