Information for other libraries requesting an Interlibrary loan
Requesting the loan of material from the Deakin University Library collections
The Library will lend material from its collections to other libraries under
the terms of The
Interlibrary Resource Sharing (ILRS) Code. The Australian
Interlibrary Resource Sharing (ILRS) Directory provides the current information
for Deakin University Library.
- Interlibrary loan borrowing conditions:
- Items borrowed from the Deakin University Library collection are
available for 8 week loans, with no renewals.
- Some collections are not available for loan.
- The catalogue shows items held at Deakin University and at Gordon
Institute of TAFE. Items located at Gordon Institute of TAFE campus
libraries should not be requested through the Deakin University interlibrary
loans service.
- Borrowing Deakin University theses may
have some additional conditions required.
- Cost to overseas libraries making a request:
- Photocopies - AUD15.00
- Loans - AUD25.00 (requesting library pays return airmail postage).
- Requesting libraries may pay by: Libraries Australia Payments Scheme, cheque, IFLA
ILL Voucher, Mastercard, Visa.
