ULA borrowers Library membership
University Library Australia (ULA) borrowers are staff and students from other Australian universities. Consult the University Library Australia (ULA) site for more information about the scheme.
Membership includes
- in person borrowing from any campus library.
- access to photocopiers, scanners, and assistance and support from Library staff.
Cost
Registration
- You will need to provide photo proof of identity, and proof that you are a current staff/student from another Australian university. The expiry date of your registration will be 28th February of the year following registration. To continue your membership after this date you will need to re-enrol.
- To become a member of the Library you will need to complete an application form, and submit it to any campus library.
- Access to Deakin University Library electronic resources, intercampus, interlibrary loans, off-air recordings, dvd's, videos, BONUS+, and eBooks, are not included with membership.

OUA - Open University Australia students
- Resources and facilities are made available at your own institution library. Deakin University Library can offer you a library subscription membership as a Community Borrower, if you want to borrow items from the collection, and have access to selected databases.
Overseas university staff and students
- Staff and students from overseas universities are welcome to become Library members upon proof of enrolment/employment at an overseas university.
- To become a member of the Library you will need to complete an application form and submit it to any campus library. If you are only living in Australia temporarily, some other form of photo identification must be provided, as well as proof of your temporary Australian address, and your permanent home (overseas) address. Australian staff and students from overseas institutions must provide proof of enrolment/employment and proof of your current address. Photo identification is also required.
- Membership is for free and for six months only.
