Facilities in the library

Computers

• There are computers available in the library for Deakin University students to use
• Bookings are not required
• Laptop computers are only available at Melbourne campus at Burwood. They may only be borrowed for a two hour period for use in the library as a reserve loan. Ask at the Loans Desk for further information.

Study rooms

• Each campus library has study rooms available for Deakin University students to use. Bookings may be required.

Copying, printing scanning

• Copying, printing, and scanning, facilities are available within the library.

Equipment

• Audiovisual equipment is available for short term loan for Deakin University purposes only. All audiovisual equipment is only available for loan from the campus at which it is located.

Disability Services

• The Library offers specialised services to students with a disability including a longer loan period.
• All Deakin students must register with the Disability Resource Centre to be eligible for these services.
• Individual library support and instruction can be arranged through the Disability Liaison Officers within Student Services.
