Current Exhibitions from the Special Collection, Geelong Waterfront Campus Library:

Alfred Deakin: his life and times
On display are various objects owned and used by Alfred Deakin that have been donated to the University by the Deakin family. Accompanying this permanent display is a changing exhibition of books and other material which aim to illuminate Alfred Deakin's life, times and accomplishments. All these items have been drawn from the Special Collection and the Alfred Deakin Prime Ministerial Library.

'A New World'
A selection of rare and important works on natural history and journeys of scientific discovery. On display are a number of exquisite books from Deakin's rich holdings in this area, including 'A Specimen of the Botany of New Holland' from 1793 and an example from the complete set of volumes produced as a result of the 'Challenger' voyage.
