Search for resources

Use Library Catalogue to find e-books and resources located in the Library

Select the 'Catalogue' tab, then type keywords, the item title or author into the search box. 

Use your Deakin College e-resources

Visit Deakin College e-resources for a list of databases you have access to. 

You can find what you're looking for by:

  • subject topics
  • subject categories such as e-books, newspapers and streaming videos
  • database titles

Visit websites

Google Scholar is a good place to search for articles. Deakin students also have full access to Encyclopedia Britannica

Make sure you check the quality of your resources. If you use a website for an assignment, reference the URL and date viewed.

Access your search results

Find out how to borrow your book or view an e-book.

Download full text articles

Choose your title from the search results, and select the 'PDF full text' link.

If you're only getting an abstract, try a search in Google Scholar. You may be able to access the entire article there.
