Library services

Students registered with the Disability Resource Centre are eligible for additional library services, including longer loan periods and access to specialised equipment.

Disability Liaison Officers from the Disability Resource Centre can assist you with:

  • Individual library support and instruction
  • Eligibility for the Library's:
    • Postal delivery service
    • Print Disability services including digitisation of print unit materials.

Access the library

Wheelchair access varies at each campus library. Please contact us to discuss access at your campus.

Available at the Geelong Waterfront, Geelong Waurn Ponds and Melbourne Burwood campuses:

  • Adjustable wheelchair accessible study tables
  • Catalogue terminals on low tables.

  • Dragon Naturally Speaking speech to text

  • Wynn (text to speech, browser, scanning, OCR)

Our Melbourne Burwood Campus Library also has a Text Magnifier machine for use with print materials.
