Now Hiring Ambassadors
If you are passionate about keeping Deakin a smoke-free environment, now is your chance to get involved in the Smoke-Free Ambassador Program. We are hiring students to fill both paid and volunteer positions.
Paid ambassadors will be required to patrol the campus in pairs every week. They will be asked to approach people who are smoking and ask them to put out the cigarette and throw the butt in the bin. They will also inform smokers about the free supports that are available at Deakin Medical Centres and any upcoming events. Volunteer ambassadors will not have weekly time commitments but will be asked to attend promotional events.
To apply, please email your expression of interest to firstname.lastname@example.org and include the following information:
- What experience you can bring to the position
- Whether you're interested in a paid or volunteer position
- Which campus you're based at.
