We have a strong culture of inclusion at Deakin University, and we welcome people from every religion. On each campus you’ll find a dedicated space for prayer or reflection and chaplains of different faiths to chat to.
Whatever your faith, and even if you're not religious, we have chaplains to offer support and guidance. They can also provide information about religious events on and off campus.
One of the many highlights of the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus is its Gothic-style sandstone chapel. Nestled beside a beautiful lake, our picturesque chapel is available to hire for weddings, christenings and other occasions.
Deakin's on-campus spiritual centres offer Muslim prayer rooms and multifaith rooms for places of worship. They're available to all students and staff, regardless of religious belief. The spaces offer a quiet and peaceful environment for personal reflection or to practice your faith.
Student health and wellbeing
We're interested in your personal growth – physically, mentally and spiritually – as well as your academic success. Please get in touch with the Student Life offices if you have any queries around student health and wellbeing.
