Business Information Systems

What is it?

The application of computers to business processes. Information systems professionals have a fundamental understanding of how computers work and an appreciation of the business environment in which they are used. They have the knowledge and skills to develop, apply and manage that technology and the ability to communicate with the people who use the computer applications to serve modern organisations.
