How to Apply

Entry Requirements

Applicants must hold a bachelor degree or equivalent in a related discipline to be eligible for admission.

Applicants, who do not satisfy the entry requirements, should apply for a Graduate Certificate of Information Systems in the first instance. On successful completion of the Graduate Certificate of Information Systems, students may apply for direct entry to the Master of Information Systems with advanced standing.

Multiple Entry Points

You can start your course at the beginning of the year (Semester one) or in the middle of the year (Semester two).

Multiple Exit Points

Upon completion of the appropriate credit points, students may apply for early exit and be awarded the Graduate Certificate of Information Systems (four credit points) or Graduate Diploma of Information Systems (eight credit points).

Progression to the Master of Information Systems

Successful completion of	Award
2 core units + 2 IS units = 4 credit points	Graduate Certificate of Information Systems
3 core units + 5 IS units (which may form an IS specialisation) = 8 credit points	Graduate Diploma of Information Systems
3 core units + 5 IS units (which may form an IS specialisation) + 4 IS or elective units = 12 credit points	Master of Information Systems
