Bioinformatics

The purpose of bioinformatics is to screen and prioritise candidate genes. Automated processes, including GeneSniffer allow high throughput bioinformatic analyses of a large number of genes. Extensive bioinformatics are performed on all genes once there is a full human open reading frame. A standard analysis pipeline, or workflow, is followed and a set of detailed reports compiled covering the mRNA, protein and genomic information.
