Deakin lecturer receives Order of Australia medal
On Australia Day 2009, Dr Rodney Arambewela, a marketing lecturer from the School of Management and Marketing, was awarded the Order of Australia medal.
Dr Arambewela received the medal for his service to the Sri Lankan community through helping to develop cultural and educational programs, and promoting Australia–Sri Lanka business relations.
Dr Arambewela was one of 536 Australians honoured in the list of awards.
