Dr Benjamin Isakhan–Dr Isakhan is an expert on the history of, and democracy in Iraq, and is currently investigating the complex inter-relationship that exists between the destruction of cultural heritage and sharp upsurges in terror and violence.

Dr James Barry– Dr Barry is an expert on language, religion and society in the Middle East and South Caucasus with a specialty on Iran. He is currently working on a project looking at Islam and Iran's foreign policy

Dr David Tittensor- Dr Tittensor is an expert on, Turkish politics and society, religion and development, and the Middle East. His latest book looks at the growth of the Turkish Muslim transnational education movement known as the G├╝len Movement.

Professor Shahram Akbarzadeh– ARC Future Fellow - holds the prestigious ARC Future Fellowship and is an expert on political Islam and extremism, the politics of Central Asia in particular Iran and the settlement of Muslims in Australia and the Middle East.
