Doctoral candidate Jing Shi also delivered a paper at the roundtable: The Cultural Influence on Transitions in Chinese-Australian Family Businesses. In another boost for Deakin’s family business research program, FBN Pacific Asia are considering a partnership with Deakin following meetings in September and November between Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) in the School of Management and Marketing, Professor Dianne Waddell and Director of the FBN Pacific Asia, Dr Roger Low. The partnership would involve researching family business across eight Asian countries, as well as Deakin undertaking case studies on Asian family firms. |
