World-class nursing research

Our research focuses on improving health care quality and patient safety. We have a range of research projects conducted through the Centre of Quality and Patient Safety (QPS). These projects focus on a number of the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) standards. Particular standards in which we have conducted research include: healthcare-associated infection, medication safety, comprehensive care, including pressure injuries, communicating for safety and recognising and responding to acute deterioration.

Our projects encompass the importance of partnering with consumers.
