With the generous support of Deakin University and Kidney Health Australia, Professor Bennett has developed an innovative resource pack for patients and health professionals aimed at improving strength and health of dialysis patients.

Dr Joan Ostaszkiewicz was interviewed this week on ABC radio 774 as part of World Continence Week (WCW). Dr Ostaszkiewicz, together with Beth Wilson, Patron, Continence Foundation of Australia, spoke to Richard Stubbs about incontinence. WCW this year is focusing on those caring for someone with incontinence.

Community Simulation Centre Opening

In June 2015 the School of Nursing and Midwifery was very excited to open our new Community Simulation Centre. The centre is set up as someone's house and will provide students with the opportunity to learn and develop skills related to community nursing practice.

Thailand Study Tour

Bon Voyage to the Thailand Study Tour

The 2015 Study Tour to Thailand departs Melbourne later this month. Twenty four students and two staff members will be spending two weeks in Thailand undertaking a range of activities including information sessions, hospital visits and health assessments.
