Distance education orientation

For students new to Deakin or new to off-campus study, distance education orientation is available.

Assistance is provided with activities like:

activation of username and password
logging onto StudentConnect and check your enrolment details
logging onto Deakin Studies Online (DSO) and look through your unit guides
familarisation with the student portal and Deakin webmail (email)
organising your Deakin card

A face-to-face orientation program for off-campus students is conducted in February at Deakin campuses and locations interstate. Details are available on the distance education orientation from January.

All students enrolled as off-campus receive the Deakin learning toolkit and a print copy of the Services guide for off-campus students.
