Online teaching and learning

Deakin has many years' experience using online technologies to support and enhance the learning experiences of on-campus and distance education students.

All units taught at Deakin University have at least a basic online component with facilities for information, resources and communication. All students commencing undergraduate degrees now complete at least one wholly online unit.

Deakin Studies Online is the university-wide learning management system.

Support for online teaching and learning is provided by the Institute of Teaching and Learning and the faculties.
