Hear everything you need to know about Environmental Management and Wildlife and Conservation Biology at Deakin.
Environmental management is a multidisciplinary field which focuses on finding solutions to the world's most pressing environmental problems. Content in the course focuses on 'real-world' problem solving and the development of applied solutions to environmental issues at local, national and international levels.
Our Wildlife and Conservation Biology course offers theoretical and practical experience in wildlife ecology, landscape and vegetation management, biodiversity and conservation, animal biology and wildlife research, leading to an exciting range of careers.
This course has a strong hands-on focus, with both field experiences and professional practice being key features preparing you for employment or further research-based study.

Hear about Deakin’s unique studies in Marine Biology, Freshwater Biology and Fisheries and Aquaculture.
Deakin’s Marine Biology course is the only stand-alone marine biology degree program in Victoria. It is located at Warrnambool, close to remarkable marine environments along the Great Ocean Road coastline.
Freshwater Biology is the only course offered in Australia that has a core focus on the management of freshwater resources and freshwater biology. Fisheries and Aquaculture emphasises the management and conservation of fisheries resources and sustainable aquaculture.
