Advanced standing

Existing determinations of advanced standing into Deakin's degree courses from Australian and international institutions are available on the University's Advanced standing (Credit Transfer) web site & database. For previous study in other courses (not currently listed on the database), applications for advanced standing are also considered at the time of a student's enrolment at Deakin.

In some instances, contractual agreements have been developed to support articulation with advanced standing, for example with the following institutions:

• Beijing University of Chemical Technology, PRC
• Beijing University of Technology, PRC
• Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India
• Shenyang Normal University, PRC

Please note: it is not a requirement of Deakin University that institutional determinations of advanced standing are recorded in a formal contractual agreement.
