Research

Research interests

Dr Booths current focus is on exploring dietary and lifestyle patterns that predict low iron status among pre-menopausal women blood donors. She will use this information to develop a health and lifestyle support program for donors, using popular technology. Dr Alison Booths main research interests are in the areas of developing and evaluating dietary and exercise self-management tools (paper-based) or programs (web-based or computer-based) to improve peoples health and wellbeing.
