Biography

Biography summary

Athena Vongalis-Macrow is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Arts and Education at Deakin University.  Her background is in Educational Sociology, Education Reform, Education Management and Policy.  She has published in the field of globalisation and the impact on teachers’ work and practices, leadership and education policy. She is currently researching and publishing in gender in organizational change and management and in mobility studies.  In addition, she has extensive research and practical experience in policy studies related to international education.
