Biography
Dr Christopher Ratcliffe is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Finance in Deakin Business School. Christopher has over 15 years of experience in the higher education sector and holds a PhD, Graduate Certificate in Higher Education in Deakin University, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Univesity of Wollongong.
His research area includes real estate finance, in particular, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Christopher has a consistent publication record in ABDC ranked journals and has presented on a number of occasions at international academic real estate conferences.
Christopher’s teaching area is within the property and real estate sector. He is currently the Deputy Director of Postgraduate Property and Real Estate Program.
Prior to joining academia, Christopher worked in the banking industry as a foreign exchange dealer for almost 10 years.
