Research interests

Haijin Zhu has been always interested in finding answers to questions with complexity and multidisciplinary backgrounds. Over the past few years he has worked on several different projects and topics including: a) the structure and properties of multi-component polyolefin alloys; b) high spatial resolution Garfield NMR imaging of polymer coating in the presence of metal substrates. c) Designing and characterization of stimulus-responsive surface which can be used in water collection and release.  Presently, his research interest focuses on the solid state NMR study of the proton conduction and transport mechanisms in Organic Ionic Plastic Crystals.
