Mr Henry Frayne
Bachelor of Commerce and Australian Olympic Athlete

Henry Frayne is the first Australian to compete in both Long Jump and Triple Jump since Ian Tomlinson at the Tokyo Games in 1964. In the 2012 London Olympic Games, Frayne placed 9th in long jump and 8th in triple jump.

Frayne admits he is competitive and had to decide between his love of athletics or AFL to pursue professionally. He chose triple and long jump in the end to follow in his famous uncle, Bruce Frayne’s, athletic footsteps.

As well as his athletic commitments, Frayne recently graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Commerce, which will allow him the option to pursue a career in a number of specialist fields including accounting, business information systems, economics, management, finance, commercial law, marketing and supply chain management and logistics.
