My larger interests include issues in Gender Studies (especially perceptions of gender in non-traditional contexts), Women's Studies, gender and sexuality, war and violence, and military culture and structure. I am currently expanding on my doctoral research to conduct a cross-cultural comparison on the status of servicewomen in the U.S. military and the Australian Defence Force.
