Biography

Dr Prasad Bhattacharya is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics in Deakin Business School. Prasad is an empirical macroeconomist working in the area of economic development and time series analysis and forecasting. He has published 18 papers in top field-specific and highly acclaimed journals like the Journal of Development Economics, European Economic Review, Journal of Macroeconomics, Journal of Forecasting, International Journal of Foreccasting, Journal of International Money and Finance, and Economic Modelling. His research has been cited in top A** journal like Journal of Financial Economics, top 10 A* journal like the Review of Economics and Statistics as well as top journal like Energy Economics, Macroeconomic Dynamics and Journal of Macroeconomics.
