Accreditation by the Distance Education and Training Council indicates to off-campus students that:

  • Deakin has voluntarily undergone a comprehensive study and peer examination which has indicated that it meets established international standards, and
  • Employers and other educational institutions in the USA (and other countries) will recognise that your off-campus coursework degree is from a US-accredited institution.
