Joint psychology clinics

Our partnerships with health services have led to the establishment of joint psychology clinics, where our postgraduate students undertake placements.

Both the Eastern Health Psychology Clinic and the Barwon Health and Deakin University Psychology Clinic have been operating successfully for a number of years.

Governance and course development

Each course has an advisory board. The board is composed of staff, students, academics from other institutions and individuals from partner organisations. This allows people to share their industry knowledge and have input into course development.

Our consulting services

The School of Psychology also offers consultancy to some of our industry partners for a commercial fee. These projects often arise from our partnerships, though they may also be in response to public tenders.

Projects can involve training programs, the development of materials, data collection and analysis, evaluations and advice.
