Developing high quality course materials at Deakin University

Knowledge Media Division (KMD) has taken a leading role in developing quality standards and processes for the development and communication of content (including course materials content as well as promotional and administrative content) at Deakin University. The Quality Services unit in KMD facilitated the development and management of a quality framework including:

• quality of course materials
• legislative compliance, including copyright, accessibility (authentication required) and information privacy (authentication required)

KMD works closely with unit chairs to develop high quality course materials. Course materials are an important and visible aspect of how Deakin connects with its students to enhance the quality of their learning.
