Course Materials standards

The course materials standards are individual standards that encompass the 10 core quality principles outlined in the Course Materials Best Practice Guidelines, but include those particular features and quality indicators relevant to that type of material. These standards were endorsed by Academic Board in mid 2006 for use by Faculty staff.

• Study Guides (21K - authentication required)
• Readings (18K - authentication required)
• Laboratory manuals and practical guides (38KB - authentication required)
• Interactive multimedia (19K - authentication required) .

The following standards are those which Knowledge Media Division will refer to when developing sound and vision resources, learning objects and electronic readings. Academic and other divisional staff staff are welcome to follow these as they wish, when developing their own similar resources.
