Deakin Research Integrity

Welcome to the Deakin Research Integrity (RI) website.

RI is the group within Deakin Research which manages required approval processes for research. Within RI sit the secretariats for Human Research Ethics, Animal Ethics, and Biosafety and Genetic Manipulation. RI also provides input, advice and referral in other areas covered by the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research.

Researchers and research organisations are entrusted by the community with the responsibility to undertake research for the benefit of us all. Research Integrity is a vital part of maintaining that trust.

As part of our commitment to integrity, all research at Deakin University is required to meet the guidelines set out in the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research. This Code sets out the guidelines determined by the National Health and Medical Research Council and Universities Australia for responsible research in this country.

Deakin University acknowledges the traditional land owners of present campus sites.
