Modifications to approved projects

Researchers are required to complete the Request for Modification Form if they wish to modify any aspect of an approved project. This may include:

Changes to the recruitment strategy
Changes to the questionnaire, including additional questions
Changes to the sample, including size
Changes to the research team
Changes to the title of the project
Extensions to the approval period

If the modifications alter the approved project significantly, researchers may be required to submit a new application. The Human Ethics Office will advise researchers if this is necessary.

Please note that you may only undertake the project as modified once you have received notification from the Human Ethics Office that your request for modification has been approved.
