Applicants for the 2009 LIEF round are required to submit completed final applications to Research Services via arc-submissions@deakin.edu.au and in hardcopy to our Waurn Ponds Office no later than COB on Friday 2 May 2008.

| 3 November | Final complete applications submitted to Research Services (G), i.e. merged form and text in hardcopy and electronic versions with signed pages as required (all will require: F3 - itemised cash and inkind support, F4 - support letter, Certification page) |

Research Services Division (RSD) to arrange workshops to discuss draft applications and give feedback.
Researchers to provide a two page summary of the proposal for the first workshop together with a draft of page one based on the suggested
pattern provided in the attachment for download through the Event Registration System. Where possible Associate
Deans (Research) to provide advice on suitability of ideas.

record section, budget and justification. Reviews to be provided by RSD and Faculties where possible. Faculties to aim to score grants in the same way as ARC and all reviewers to give targeted suggestions on improvements |

| 2 May 2008 | Submission | Final application – merged GAMS and free text – to RSD. Note: Applicants are held responsible for the accuracy of their submissions. RSD will provide basic checks for compliance. |

Final Applications must be emailed to nhmrc-submissions@deakin.edu.au by the appropriate due date. The hard copy of the NHMRC original signature page(s) must also be received by the RAO on this date.
