Aim |
The Research Equipment Support Scheme (RESS) provides funding for the purchase of equipment where it is demonstrated that there is a genuine and widespread need within Faculties, Strategic Research Centres (SRCs) and / or Institutes and that the purchase will contribute to areas of research strength or strategic importance. There is one funding round per annum. This funding provides for equipment costs only. The Faculty, SRC or Institute is expected to make a financial contribution towards non capital (operating) aspects of the project. |

Funding Amts |
$10,000 - $120,000 for Arts & Education/Business & Law or associated SRC's and Institutes. $30,000 - $120,000 for all other Faculties, SRC’s and Institutes. |

Other Important Information |
Early Career Researcher (ECR): For the purposes of this scheme a researcher is considered to be an ECR if PhD was conferred within 5 years of the close date of 7 October 2013 |
