Deakin University - Thinkers in Residence Program 2012 Round 2 (for funding in 2013)

Aim

This program is designed to bring strategic and high level thinkers from industry or academia to Deakin University normally for a 3-6 month period. Thinkers will be leaders in industry or academia who also bring broad based understanding of their field in the context of future thinking. Through this program they should be able to both advance their own research and make an important contribution to Deakin’s research culture.

Funding Amts

Up to a maximum of $10,000 in the first month (including return economy airfare) and up to $5,000 per month for up to a further five months.

1. Liaise with your Faculty/ SRC as these are strategic and highly competitive applications

2. Prepare the application - collate it and associated documents into a single pdf document

Other Important Information

Applications are considered twice per year, round 1 closes in March and round 2 closes in September.
