VESKI Innovation Fellowships 2013/14

Aim

The VESKI innovation fellowships bring Australian expatriates and leading international researchers to Victoria.  Fellowships are aimed at researchers at any stage in their career who have outstanding skills in science and innovative technology, typically in the top five percent of their respective fields.  Internationally based researchers who are currently negotiating a position at Deakin University may apply for this scheme, providing they are domiciled outside of Australia at the time of submission.

Important Notes

Successful individuals can receive up to $50,000 per annum for up to 3 years.  This funding can be used for salary or other costs associated with the fellow’s research.

How to Apply

1.Check if you are competitive

2. Read guidelines and application instructions

2. Liaise with your ADR/SRC/Institute Director

3. Submit a Notice of Intention to Submit plus a 2 page CV

4. ADR/SRC/Institute Director review NOIS and determine applications to support

5. Prepare the application if invited

6. Submit your application to Deakin Research for compliance check by internal deadline

Further Information: Applicants have worked outside of Australian shores for the past 12 months and must be domiciled outside of Australia at the time of submission.
