The Victoria node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Functional Nanomaterials is led by Professor Ying Chen and focuses on the cutting edge nanotechnology research and applications. Our current research covers nanotubes, nanowires, graphene, and nanoporous materials, as well as plasma treatments. With the newly equipped world class facilities, we aim to solve the current challenges in energy storage (battery and supercapacitors), environmental protection, new advanced nanomaterials, and health and medical issues. The following research projects demonstrate our research direction and abilities. We welcome researchers and students to join these forefront research programs.
