The Pier

The Pier is located on Cunningham Pier on the Geelong waterfront precinct at 10 Western Beach Foreshore Road, Geelong. The venue is directly opposite the Waterfront campus 5 mins walk from the Geelong train station.

Parking: Limited parking is available on Cunningham Pier for $6 for the day. Remember to bring change for the ticket machine.

Deakin University car parks are located in Gheringhap Street (permit required), daily permits purchased from the car park (remember to bring change for the ticket machine)

Driving directions from Waurn Ponds campus to The Pier

  1. Head north on Pigdons Rd towards University Drive
  2. Continue onto Thornhill Rd
  3. Turn right onto Roslyn Rd
  4. Go through 2 roundabouts
  5. Turn left onto Roberts Rd
  6. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Shannon Ave
  7. Turn right onto Autumn St
  8. Take the 3rd left on to Pakington St
  9. Turn right onto Church St/Midland Hwy
  10. Slight left onto Glenleith Ave
  11. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto The Esplanade
  12. Continue onto Western Beach. Destination will be on the right

Geelong Intercampus Free Bus

A free campus shuttle bus travels between the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus and the Geelong Waterfront Campus
