Robert has a Technical High End Role within the Centre for Material and Fibre Innovation. Where he maintains and manages the knowledge transfer for the following equipment:
- Torsion Testing Rig
- Metal Powders Laboratory
- Ultra Micro Indentation System (UMIS)
- Atomic Force Microscope (AFM)
- X-ray Diffraction Rig (XRD)
- Thermal Analysis Equipment (DSC)
- Dynamic Mechanical Analyser (DMA)
- Impact Tester

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Technology – Metallurgy RMIT 1988
• Fitting and Machining Graduate – Dept. of Defence 1986
