Dr Kevin Magniez

Research interests:

Dr Magniez’s research interests encompass the development of novel composite materials including self-healing, toughened and nanocomposite systems, as well as polymers, their blends and nanocomposites, (crystallisation behaviour, mechanical and thermo-mechanical properties, nanocomposites etc). Magniez currently supervises a number of projects in some respective areas.

• MEng, Ecole Nationale des Arts et industries Textiles (ENSAIT), France (2001)

2008-present: Research fellow in composites/ Lecturer, Deakin University

2006-2008: Research fellow, CSIRO Materials Science and Engineering.

2002-2006: PhD in materials science and nanocomposites, CSIRO/Deakin University.
