Quarantine materials and QAPs (DAFF)

DAFF Import Permits specify conditions for the importation of biological materials. Some materials can only be worked with in DAFF Quarantine Approved Premises (QAPs). These are classified into 4 levels: QC1-4 (low to high risk). DAFF determines the level of quarantine containment required on the Import Permit.
