CRADLE welcomes Associate Professor Margaret Bearman

CRADLE is delighted to welcome Associate Professor Margaret Bearman to the team. A/Prof. Bearman joined CRADLE in February 2017 having recently completed her role as Associate Professor, Director of Research in Monash University’s HealthPEER team.

'I’m really thrilled to be starting at CRADLE – the opportunity to work with great colleagues in cutting-edge educational research and practice at Deakin is hugely exciting,' says A/Prof. Bearman. 

'I’m looking forward to research opportunities in my areas of interest, which you could broadly describe as feedback and assessment in digital, simulation and practice-based environments.'

Over the course of her career in health professional and higher education, A/Prof. Bearman has written more than 70 publications and received over $7.5 million in research and development funding. Her papers have appeared in leading health professional education journals including Academic Medicine, Medical Education and Advances in Health Sciences Education

A/Prof. Bearman has also been formally recognised for her work as an educator and researcher, including awards from the Australian Office of Teaching and Learning and Simulation Australasia.
