About the program

"Mentoring gave me the confidence and know-how to get my work accepted by high quality journals"

Mentee

Support for mid career researchers is currently provided through the Developing Research Leaders program. This is an enhanced mentoring and networking program for mid-career researchers who are committed to moving their research performance up to the level of research leader.

The programs run for 18 months and are designed to provide mentoring and networking opportunities that go across Schools, Faculties, Institutes and campus locations.

Programs also includes a number of research retreats, seminars, workshops and/or meetings for mentors and mentees.

"I realised that this was an important role as I valued the advice that I have been given right back to undergraduate days"

Mentor

All sessions are organised to enhance opportunities for networking and information-sharing between mentees and mentors across different disciplines, Schools, Faculties, Institutes and campuses. Opportunities for developing new research collaborations and inter-disciplinary research teams are an important feature of the program.
