Fresh Science is an annual event that showcases the work of selected early-career researchers from around Australia.

Organisers say the selected researchers are brought together for a “boot camp in science communication”, with the selected scientists participating in a range of events. Frank travelled to Canberra as part of the Science meets Parliament program where he met and discussed his research with politicians.
