Dr Kylie Hesketh has done it again!
Deakin University researcher, Dr Kylie Hesketh, who works in the Centre for Physical Activity and Nutrition Research, has was won the oral presentation prize in the theme area ‘Epidemiology and Policy’ at the World Congress of Epidemiology held in Edinburgh.
"I want to congratulate Kylie on yet another achievement," said Professor David Crawford, the Director of C-PAN.
Dr Hesketh has an award winning research record.
Last year she gave the best oral presentation by an Early Career Researcher at the Australasian Society for Behavioural Health and Medicine’s 7th Scientific Conference.
Dr Hesketh was also a finalist in the Humanities and Social Sciences section of the Scopus Young Researcher of the Year of Award.
In 2009, Dr Hesketh won a National Heart Foundation of Australia Career Development Award for her project: Promoting physical activity and reducing sedentary behaviours during early childhood to prevent overweight.
