In October, 2011, the Barwon Psychiatry Research Unit received a stunning five National Health and Medical Research Council grants.
The Unit, which has a publication rate similar to that of much larger research centres, is a partnership between Barwon Health, and now Deakin University after coming across from Melbourne University.
Deakin Research Communications caught up with the head of the Unit, Professor Michael Berk, to find out about the move to Deakin, the Unit's ground-breaking research, and the people who make it happen.
